We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our client’s GRA & EIT Tech team in Dublin. This is a hybrid role, offering the opportunity to work both onsite and remotely, supporting enterprise-level systems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications.
Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift.
Build and maintain Apache Kafka producers/consumers and real-time streaming pipelines.
Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
Write efficient SQL queries for data analysis, reporting, and performance optimization.
Integrate and manage data storage with Hitachi S3 and caching with Redis.
Collaborate effectively with your team and contribute to agile workflows using JIRA.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions.
What We’re Looking For
7–8 years of enterprise-level Python development experience.
Strong Python programming skills with experience in scalable applications.
Hands-on experience with OpenShift.
Working knowledge of Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, streaming pipelines).
Proficiency in Starburst / Trino and SQL.
Experience with Hitachi S3 and Redis.
Strong understanding of Git workflows and code review processes.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Proactive, adaptable, and able to take ownership of deliverables.
