Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving inbound deliveries and decanting goods into designated storage or production areas. This role is vital to maintaining smooth operations, accurate stock flow, and a clean, organised warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive, inspect, and sign off on incoming deliveries
* Accurately check delivery contents against purchase orders/invoices
* Safely decant bulk deliveries into smaller containers or storage units
* Label, record, and store materials in appropriate areas
* Keep accurate stock and delivery records
* Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
* Report damaged or missing items immediately
* Follow all health and safety procedures in handling materials
Requirements:
* Previous warehouse or goods-in experience preferred
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Physically fit — able to lift and move goods safely
* Basic computer or scanner literacy (stock logging)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Forklift licence is a plus (but not essential)
