Job Description
A Manufacturing Specialist is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our client, a leading health care organization, based in East Galway for an initial 12-month contract role.
The Manufacturing Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing routers, and master data within Oracle EBS and Fusion ERP systems.
Role of this position
1. Develop, maintain, and validate BOMs, manufacturing routers, and associated master data in Oracle EBS and Fusion ERP.
2. Ensure master data integrity across manufacturing modules, including item attributes, work centers, resources, and routings.
3. Collaborate with process and manufacturing engineers to define optimal production steps, work centers, and labor standards.
4. Support New Product Introductions (NPIs) and design transfer activities by creating initial BOMs, routers, and master data setups.
5. Ensure BOMs and routers align with engineering drawings, specifications, and approved manufacturing processes.
6. Participate in Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes and ensure timely updates in ERP systems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
7. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
8. Experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated industries.
9. Hands-on experience in process/manufacturing engineering, including process mapping, validation, and optimization.
10. Proficiency in Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion ERP, especially in manufacturing modules (BOM, Work in Process, Inventory, Master Data).
