Synthetic Traffic Generation and Fault Detection
We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team responsible for designing, building, and operating complex network systems. Our focus is on ensuring the availability of Amazon's global network by detecting and remediating impairments before they impact customers.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a great team of software developers, hardware engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers. You will collaborate with colleagues across AWS to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.

* You will handle the complete product and software development lifecycle with your team, including defining, prioritizing, designing, building, and testing new features.
* You will understand what it takes to grow and operate a global business at our scale.

Requirements
* Experience (non-internship) in professional software development.
* Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
* Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
* Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
