Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-volume production team in an Injection Moulding Medical Device manufacturing facility.
* The successful candidate will oversee all molding operations, establish performance standards, and measure results.
* They will ensure customer requirements are met, review and approve labor management, and understand products and quality specifications.
* Key responsibilities include establishing and monitoring plant performance by creating goals and reviewing tracking metrics, developing plans to reduce scrap, and ensuring duties are defined and communicated to direct reports.
* The role also involves reviewing and approving performance evaluations, investigating accident reports, and verifying compliance with PM Management activities.
* Additional duties include tracking and monitoring inventories, ensuring fair treatment of employees, and implementing the Quality System ISO 13485 for GMP compliance.
* The ideal candidate will drive technical and operational enhancements, manage production facility performance, and monitor production data to implement solutions.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* At least 5 years experience in an Injection Moulding Medical Device manufacturing facility and general manufacturing operations in a similar high-volume production role.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to analyse performance data and present actionable insights.
* A results-driven approach with problem-solving and continuous improvement, strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and techniques.
* BSc in Engineering or equivalent in a related technical discipline.
