Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Payroll and Accounts Assistant to join our established accounts team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll, managing the purchase ledger, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
This role is vital in ensuring smooth financial operations, including payroll, supplier payments, and bank reconciliations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience working in a fast-paced finance department.
* Proven experience in payroll processing and purchase ledger duties.
* Practical knowledge of computerized accounts packages (Sage 50 or similar).
* Accounting Technician qualification (or working towards) or equivalent experience in a similar role (Desirable).
In addition, you should have:
* Excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines and workload.
* An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent time management skills.
