Performance Test Engineer to join leading Insurance Group a strategic transformation program.
This is a 12-month contract with possible extension and a competitive daily rate of €500 per day.
***** hybrid model with the office based in South Dublin.
Responsibilities: Design and execute performance tests using Apache JMeter Validate performance in Java 21 and JBoss EAP 8.0 environments Compare results against baseline metrics from Java 8 and WebLogic/WebSphere Capture key metrics: response time, throughput, resource utilisation Log issues in JIRA with detailed evidence and collaborate on root cause analysis Present results to key stakeholders clearly Work closely with our Test Manager, UAT Coordinator, solution architects, development and infrastructure teams to critically assess candidates for performance testing Participate in GO/No-Go decisions for production releases Support business users in validation phases Co-ordinate performance testing effort across multiple QA teams Requirements: Experience of using at least one performance testing tool such as; LoadRunner, JMeter, LoadUI etc Experience of leading a number of nonfunctional test projects through all phases Knowledge of test automation and relevant tools Knowledge of Java, Springboot, Weblogic & JBOSS technologies Experience of testing on various platforms Skills: Test Engineer Software Developer Software Engineer Benefits: Work From Home
