Atlantic Flight Training Academy (AFTA) are currently recruiting for a temporary full-time Sales and Marketing Associate to support our Sales & Marketing team during a maternity leave commencing in early December 2025.
The Sales & Marketing Associate is responsible for supporting the team to build and positively promote the AFTA brand. You will be responsible for supporting the promotion of the academy's flight training programs, managing inquiries, and assisting in recruitment and conversion of students. The role combines customer relationship management, marketing content creation, and event coordination and attendance to drive growth and brand visibility.
Ideally this position will suit an individual with a strong sales acumen, an interest in aviation, a people person, focused on building positive relationships with future students and supporting the team to generate new business leads through creative marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Respond to prospective student inquiries and provide information on training programs.
* Assist in student recruitment campaigns, both online and in-person.
* Maintain CRM databases and track leads through the sales funnel.
* Support digital marketing initiatives (social media, website updates, email campaigns).
* Contribute to marketing materials, newsletters, and success stories.
* Support the planning, organising, and coordination of sales and marketing events (e.g. seminars, open days, promotional events) to promote the academy's training programmes.
* Represent the academy at external sales and marketing events, fairs, and open days.
* Support the processing of cadet applications and assist in converting leads into enrolled students.
* Support with student assessment and enrolment administration
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES / QUALIFICATIONS:
* Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
* 1–2 years' minimum experience in sales and marketing (aviation sector experience is a bonus).
* High level of PC skills required. Must be proficient with Microsoft, email and internet
* Strong Proficiency with Digital Marketing tools and CRM systems
* Fluent English speaker
* Willingness to travel to seminars and events across Ireland and Europe on a regular basis with flexibility to attend at weekends.
* Full EU drivers licence
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to forge positive relationships with potential students and clients
* High energy, highly motivated and driven person with strong sales and results focus.
* A 'can do' positive attitude with a resilient nature
* A strong team player with the ability to work on their own initiative

Note: This is a temporary full-time position to cover maternity leave. However, there is potential for the role to be extended, or for a suitable permanent position to become available within the company during or after the contract period.

Pay: €32,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
