A snapshot of your peer group:
Degree in Engineering, Maths, Physics, Economics, or related field
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience
Comfortable with ambiguity and changing client demands
Strong interest in infrastructure and asset management; expertise in sectors like energy, water, transport, or built environment
Experience engaging senior management on strategic asset management challenges
Solid understanding of asset management principles and application to business issues.
Ability to assess risks at business and portfolio levels
Deep knowledge in areas such as:
Asset strategies and operating models
ISO *****, maturity models, and value frameworks
Investment decision-making and portfolio optimisation
Asset health, maintenance strategies, and performance
Asset data strategies, digital tools, and smart technologies
Awareness of digital trends (BIM, Digital Twins) and ESG areas (Green Procurement, Circular Economy)
Understanding of decarbonisation and NetZero policies in Ireland, NI, and EU
Insight into applying cross-sector trends to infrastructure is a plus
Awareness of infrastructure regulation and price review processes
Experience with Enterprise Asset Management systems (implementation/use is an advantage)
Commercially aware and financially astute
Knowledge of large asset-owning organisations in Ireland (public/private)
High drive, ambition, and ability to work in fast-paced environments
Strong team player with collaborative leadership experience
Excellent English communication skills (written and oral)

Here is what you can initially expect:
Working in teams in a hybrid environment across diverse and complex government and private sector infrastructure andenergyclient engagements
Utilising yourindustryexperience toassistclients through support and advisory services
Analysing project and programmes control and strategic processes, policies and procedures whilevalidatingkey findings / observations to present key recommendations to the client in a succinct manner
Present reports in MS PowerPoint through concise / crisp presentation forms
Working onmultipleengagementsfor different clients at any one time
Potential to be seconded into client firms to assist during high output project phases.
Collaborate with team members internally and client managers externally to meet agreed deliverable milestones
Helping to manage the day-to-day relationship with key client contacts, ensuring our service is responsive to their needs
Managing the use and development of tools and methodologies across the team and within projects
Engaging with global teams toleverageexperience, resources, and capabilities
Ensuring KPMG's quality and risk management procedures are completed to theappropriate standard
Ensuring that the quality of our deliverables is of a high standard and compliant to ISO:****
Applying innovative and creative techniques to solve complex problems on client engagements
