The Events Manager – Dublin is responsible for planning, organising, and executing events in Dublin, including conferences, courses and seminars, townhalls, business lunches and dinners, and IPO ceremonies. The role also includes promoting and managing the Market Floor project and its events, marketing the space, and generating revenue.
In addition, the Events Manager will coordinate London-based events by maintaining a comprehensive event list, liaising with business and corporate functions to manage them remotely, and travelling to London when necessary. The Event Manager in Dublin is responsible for:
* Organising and delivering virtual, hybrid, and in-person courses, events, and conferences, including bell ceremonies, workshops, seminars, and large-scale events, in close coordination with business teams and clients.
* Coordinating all event logistics, including invitations, guest lists, catering, presentation materials, audiovisual support, media, photography, security, signage, gifts, and briefings for external agencies and internal stakeholders. This includes liaising with the legal team for contracts, onboarding new suppliers, raising POs, and managing invoicing. Events may take place at Euronext Dublin or external venues, in physical, virtual, or hybrid formats, in collaboration with Euronext's subsidiary Company Webcast.
* Ensuring compliance of branding, marketing, and event materials with the support of the Group's design agency and internal brand and content teams.
* Updating event-related website content, managing registration and communications through the events tool, and providing regular internal reporting.
* Supporting international projects as needed and participating in weekly meetings with colleagues from other European locations.
* Collaborating closely with Communications teams (Press, Social Media, Brand & Content, Internal Comms) and other departments acting as the key contact for business owners organising events.
* Briefing and managing external agencies and suppliers to ensure high-quality delivery.
* Ensuring ESG compliance of events and materials, and proposing initiatives to reduce the team's carbon footprint.
* Managing event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and within allocated limits.
* Promoting and selling conference spaces as well as the Market Floor - maximising revenue, and proactively pursuing new business opportunities with corporate clients, associations, and event organisers.
* Managing incoming requests, prioritising tasks, escalating issues when necessary, and identifying solutions to ensure efficient handling of all responsibilities.
Key Events
Events organised by Euronext are central to the Group's marketing and communication strategy. The Events Manager will support the planning and execution of a variety of major events, including:
* Traditional bell ceremonies
* Listing ceremonies in the context of Initial Public Offering (IPO) operations
* Workshops and academic programmes, such as the multi-day IPOready education programme
* Business or private breakfast sessions, lunches, and dinners in collaboration with business teams
* Internal staff events, including the End of Year Party, Summer Party, and Family Day
* Roundtable discussions and networking sessions
We are looking for a candidate who possesses:
* Previous experience in an events role, ideally with exposure to an international environment. Experience in PR and Social Media is an advantage.
* Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective time management.
* Ability to work with top management and maintain high standards in event design and execution.
* Strong multi-tasking skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects under pressure and tight deadlines.
* Influential sales skills with the ability to successfully close deals.
* Excellent command of spoken and written English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
* Reliability, availability, responsiveness, and proactivity, with a collaborative approach in working closely with their manager.
