Senior Nursing Professional
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nursing Professional to join our team in Galway. As Assistant Director of Nursing, you will play a key role in supporting the Director of Nursing in providing clinical and professional leadership to the care team.
About the Role:
* To provide high-quality patient care while promoting resident safety and dignity.
* To develop relationships with residents to facilitate autonomy, informed choice, and evidence-based decision-making.
You will be responsible for ensuring that patients receive excellent care by executing an effective management style that maximizes their capacity to exercise personal autonomy and choice. You must also ensure continuity of care through effective communication with healthcare professionals or subsequent caregivers as appropriate.
The ideal candidate should have minimum three years post-graduate experience in nursing with at least two years' experience in caring for older adults. A post-registration qualification in gerontological nursing is desirable but not essential. The successful applicant must possess strong organizational skills along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
