The Glenview Hotel which is situated in Co. Wicklow only 20 minutes from Dublin city centre, on a magnificent panoramic site overlooking the Garden of Ireland are now recruiting a Bar Person and Mixologist to join our fantastic team.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide a high level of customer service to the Conservatory Bar, efficient and comfortable creating a cocktail menu or requests. Maintaining the highest standards required by Company Policy. To anticipate guests needs and meet them via high standards of customer service
* To ensure high standard of service in Hotel
* To be responsible for maintaining the cocktail/Bar area, assist with creating monthly/seasonal cocktails, a high level of cleanliness in the Bar, Conservatory and Malton lounge.
* To work well with the team
* To be responsible for Moines and taking orders
* To ensure there is enough stock in the cocktail area and bar at all times
* To assist with stick take when needed and other area of functions and events
* To become and remain knowledgeable with regard to local amenities and services, places of interest, information centres
* To deal with any customer complaints in a professional manner and to inform management of same immediately
* To develop and maintain up to date product knowledge
* To assist with drink promotions and marketing of the bar area.
* To minimise waste in the department
* To ensure maximum security for guests and staff at all times
* To notify your Manager / Assistant Manager/Supervisor of any maintenance required
The ideal candidate would have more than 2 yrs experience in a cocktail bar private bar area.
