Kilkenny Permanent Salary: Negotiable Office Based Role My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.
Candidates will need to have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
Experience using Sage Line 50 would be a distinct advantage A good working knowledge of Excel is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities: Accounts receivable Sales invoicing & credit control Bank reconciliations VAT returns VIES/ Intrastat returns Assist in month end management accounts preparation Assist in preparation of year end audit files Provide cover for other areas in the department Assisting with day-to-day finance activities and general ad hoc duties as they arise Key Skills: Experience in a similar role with 2 3 years accounts experience Accounting technician qualification or equivalent desirable but not essential.
Strong IT skills including Sage 50 Accounts, Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook Good organisational and time management skills.
Work well both in a team and under ones own initiative.
Attention to detail & ability to cope with a fast-paced working environment.
Flexible and willing to work to meet deadlines.
