The purpose of this role is to provide administrative and reception support to all staff in Premier Surgery. You will need to have a passion for both healthcare and the fast-paced culture of a growing medical practice. You will need excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:Answering all incoming calls and redirecting as appropriate.Managing patient appointments.Meeting and greeting all patients to the surgery.Cash handling and issuing of receipts.Maintaining GMS records.Preparing prescriptions.Scanning and filing.Any other duties assigned by the Practice Manager or GP.Requirements1-2 years administration/reception experience required.Experience working in a fast-paced environment is essential.Excellent interpersonal, communication and telephone skills.Strong multi-tasking skills.Computer literate in Word/Excel/E-mail.Willingness to be a team player and an ability to work on own initiative.Excellent organisational skills.Flexibility.Key SkillsThe ability to remain calm, professional and polite in dealing with our patients and colleagues.Be professional in your approach to your work.Build and maintain good relationships with all colleagues.Welcome and embrace change with a positive attitude.Be motivated to learn and develop.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €15.00-€17.00 per hourExpected hours: 37.5 per weekBenefits:On-site parkingWork Location: In person
