Job Description: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Dublin 12

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in preparing and analyzing project costings and budgets.
* Support senior commercial staff in tendering and procurement processes.
* Monitor project variations and manage subcontractor accounts.
* Prepare valuations and final accounts under supervision.
* Liaise with site teams and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Monitor project progress and prepare regular cost reports and forecasts.
* Conduct valuations, manage variations, and assess contractor claims.
* Ensure contractual and financial compliance across the project.
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on commercial matters.
* Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
Requirements:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
* 3-5 years' experience in a QS or commercial support role.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT applications.
* Eagerness to learn and develop within a supportive team.
* Proven experience in a similar role within large-scale construction (main contractor) or engineering projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., NEC, FIDIC, or similar).
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
* Proven ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
* Enthusiasm and results-focused, with the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Effective negotiation skills with both internal and external customers.
* Experience in windows are preferable.
