Circet Ireland is looking for Network Planners to join our team in Letterkenny on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an entry-level role, and training will be provided.

Network Planner Job Description
This role is office-based in Letterkenny and involves planning and designing Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTX) networks across Ireland and internationally. You will be involved in FTTX network modelling, planning delivery infrastructure, producing maps and drawings, and supporting Circet staff and clients.

Responsibilities:
* Designing fibre networks using tools like ARC GIS, Solid Works, FME.
* Planning FTTX networks, including creating detailed network designs.
* Validating fibre routes, identifying key entry points, and checking for potential issues (e.g., poles, wires, ducts).
* Preparing materials lists and construction documents.
* Ensuring designs meet client standards.
* Providing project updates and data analysis.
* Conducting quality checks and preparing reports.
Skills / Experience:
* IT literacy with MS Office packages.
* Good time management skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Positive problem-solving attitude.
* Desire for continuous improvement.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to travel if required.
* Full clean driving license.
Desired (not essential):
* Experience with ArcGIS products and tools.
* Experience in communications, electrical, or related utilities industries.
* Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, IQGEO, QGIS, FME, Smallworld.
