We are seeking an experienced and operations-driven Hotel General Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a centrally located busy hotel. This role is ideal for a results-oriented leader with a strong background in operational efficiency, service excellence, and team leadership. The GM will be responsible for the seamless functioning of all departments, with a particular focus on delivering high standards in guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and front office operations. if you are a hands-on manager who is a team player as well as a leader this is a perfect job for you. Preference to a good knowledge of the local area would be an advantage to the role. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership Oversee daily operations of all departments including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, porters, maintenance, and security. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Monitor and maintain quality service standards across all areas of the hotel. Develop and implement SOPs to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. Staff Management Lead, train, and mentor department heads and team members to foster a high-performance culture. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans for staff. Schedule and monitor staffing levels to ensure optimal service delivery. Guest Experience Drive guest satisfaction by ensuring high standards of service and responsiveness. Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally, with a focus on root-cause resolution. Financial Management Monitor labour, inventory, and operational expenditures to meet profitability goals. Facilities & Maintenance Ensure the property is maintained in excellent condition, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance schedules. Collaborate with vendors and contractors for service and equipment needs. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field is an advantage. Minimum of 5 years of some sort of hotel management experience, with at least 3 years in an operations-focused leadership role. Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Skills: Hotel Management Hotel Operations Hospitality
