We are seeking a Construction Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Kildare.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain strong relationships with clients, their representatives, and project stakeholders.
Represent the company's commercial interests at meetings related to projects under your control.
Support staff in performing commercial and contractual duties.
Liaise with other departments to provide accurate information for the Commercial/Financial Teams.
Prepare monthly, interim, and final valuations, applications for payment, cost reconciliations, and certification for contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, and specialists.
Provide information for accurate review of cash flow and project financial positions.
Ensure timely recovery of all monies owed to the company for completed work.
Collaborate with the Procurement Manager to place supplier agreements and subcontracts.
Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to develop the commercial team.
Undertake other related duties as required.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience:
Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field from a UK or Irish university.
3–5 years' experience in quantity surveying, ideally on large civil infrastructure projects.
Experience with Public Works Contracts in Ireland or the UK is preferred.
Strong commercial awareness and attention to financial detail.
Membership of a relevant professional institution is desirable but not essential.
Full, clean Irish/EU driving license.
Authorized to work in Ireland (valid Work Permit or Stamp 4 visa).
Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
