Job Title: Assistant Manager
Responsibilities
Assist the Branch Manager in organizing, planning and implementing strategy.
Coordinate operations of the branch and ensure service, sales and quality targets are met.
Carry out mechanical/tyre fitting duties on the workshop floor as required.
Provide support on mechanical queries.
Ensure schedules and objectives are met and staff engagement is maintained.
Monitor operating costs, budgets and resources.
Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs and specifications.
Secure adherence to company policies and guidelines.
Conduct all administrative work in a timely manner, recording details on in‑house systems.
Support the Branch Manager as requested, e.g., audits.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
Good technical ability and mechanical knowledge.
Excellent communication skills.
Leadership experience.
Full clean driving licence required.
Some experience in using and navigating computers.
