Western Alzheimers is recruiting for Healthcare Assistants throughout Athleague and surrounding areas to join their Community Employment project. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get back to work, up‑skill and gain further experience in a person‑centered healthcare setting. QQI certified Healthcare training with support provided.
Duties
Care for people with Alzheimer’s Disease/dementia and provide supportive care in the clients’ home. Tasks may include assisting with personal care, social engagement, meal preparation, etc.
Flexible availability and a full clean driver’s licence required. 19.5 hours per week.
