Throughout the placement, you will be an integral part of Stryker's 2025 Cooperative cohort.
Tasks and responsibilities may include:Together, with your Stryker team leader and college supervisor, identify a Finance improvement project along with project objectives, scope, success factors, milestones and evaluationInvolvement in financial month end process (posting journals, reporting, liaising with our shared service center etc)Input into budgeting process through taking responsibility for budget inputs, working with the business to set the appropriate budgets and projections, and holding others accountable for performance against targetsForecasting on a quarterly, monthly, and weekly basisAssist the team in the tracking of capital spent and monitoring site spend and inventory movementsSupport compliance and internal/external audit activities What you will need:Currently enrolled in a university course in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or other related courses for the duration of the placementHonesty and integrity; must comply with the quality system, regulations, and company policiesSelf-motivated, flexible, and hardworking - enjoys working in a dynamic, fast and results orientated environmentReliable, dependable, and punctualOrganised, focused, and capable of multi-taskingGood analytical and problem-solving skillsGood verbal and written communication skills with a basic level of PC skillsIs a team player and capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined teamAvailable for either 6, 9 or 12 months – exact duration and start date to be discussed with your Talent Acquisition Business Partner at StrykerWhat we can offer: Attractive salary & vacation entitlementExperience our inclusive, people-first culture.
