Your New Job
As a Senior Process Engineer, you'll offer technical expertise to the operations team, focusing on resolving process challenges, enhancing efficiencies, and supporting major projects.
You'll collaborate with various teams, mentor graduate engineers, and take ownership of key site improvement initiatives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and support improvements to increase plant efficiency and process excellence
Develop and deliver process trials, modifications, and investigation studies for product development
Manage the Graduate Engineer program and mentor operational staff
Oversee and report on specific improvement projects
Coordinate Lean activities and promote solution-driven manufacturing protocols
Support maintenance and operational teams to advance knowledge and performance
Provide input and technical support for major equipment upgrades and capital projects
Propose and drive innovative process technology initiatives
Maintain compliance with relevant standards, procedures, and legislation
What Are We Looking For?
BSc Degree in Engineering or Science (Chemical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing)
Green or Black Belt Lean certification
At least 5 years' relevant process or project experience
Strong technical management background
Knowledge of Lean tools/techniques, steam systems, and plant utilities
Rapid problem-solving, planning, and analytical skills
Commitment to best practice, safety, and continuous improvement
Self-motivated and enthusiastic
