Role Responsibilities
* Serve as the technical expert for SuccessFactors (SAP’s Cloud Payroll solution, ECP). Engage with the SuccessFactors Community and relevant user groups to ensure my client is fully leveraging current and upcoming capabilities.
* Translate business requirements into system requirements and design specifications. Document new and/or existing application needs and ensure all interfaces are properly understood and addressed.
* Manage system changes—this includes updates to existing SuccessFactors configurations and integrations, as well as the creation of new ones based on evolving business needs.
* Investigate and resolve complex payroll issues, delivering timely and accurate solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to address concerns and improve operational efficiency.
* Work with cross-functional teams to support system upgrades and enhancements. Perform testing and ensure smooth transitions to new functionalities.
* Contribute to the strategic IT roadmap by partnering with leadership and stakeholders to align system capabilities with organizational goals. Leverage SuccessFactors to streamline processes and reduce administrative burden.
* Drive adoption, optimization, and transformation initiatives by ensuring SuccessFactors is used to its full potential. Focus on continuous improvement of processes, integration, automation, and the user experience.
* Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements, recommend solutions, and prioritize implementations aligned with ad-hoc business objectives.
* Coordinate with internal and external partners, including third-party vendors and internal product, audit, and security teams, to maintain efficient, compliant, and accurate configurations and integrations.
Requirements
* 3–5 years of experience as a business analyst working with SAP HCM Payroll and/or Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
* Strong knowledge of payroll processes (preferably including Ireland-specific requirements) and tax calculation methodologies.
* Deep understanding of integrations between ECP, Employee Central, SAP ECC, and third-party systems.
* Demonstrated hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions based on business requirements.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex data, systems, and business processes to deliver effective solutions.
* Good understanding of Employee Life Cycle Management in global organizational contexts.
* Ability to translate business needs into system configuration and design within the SuccessFactors Employee Management Solution framework, following best practices.
* Proven adaptability, quick learning ability, and a willingness to acquire new technical and business competencies.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
