A growing and well-established accountancy firm is seeking a Trainee Accountant to join its finance team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice environment who is looking to continue developing their career within a supportive and progressive business.Working closely with senior finance professionals, the successful candidate will gain broad exposure across accounts preparation, tax, and client management while continuing their professional exams.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial statementsSupport month-end and year-end processesPrepare VAT, PAYE and other statutory returnsPerform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliationsLiaise directly with clients regarding financial queries and documentationSupport senior team members on a range of accounting and finance projectsMaintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsRequirements:1–2 years’ experience within an accountancy practice environmentCurrently studying towards ACCA / ACA / CPA or planning to commence examsStrong understanding of accounting fundamentals and double-entry bookkeepingGood Excel skills and exposure to accounting softwareStrong communication and organisational skillsEager to learn with a proactive and positive attitudeMust hold a stamp 4 visa or EU passport to applyWhat’s on Offer:Strong mentorship and hands-on trainingExcellent exposure across multiple areas of finance and accountingClear progression opportunitiesCollaborative and supportive working environment
