Service Delivery Manager – Gas Services | Ireland

You start your day owning the delivery of outages, operations support, and order management for thermal power generation rotating equipment, working closely with customers who rely on you to keep heat and power flowing. You balance technical insight with commercial judgment, shaping solutions across long‑term service agreements and one‑off contracts. Alongside colleagues in Ireland and offshore teams in the UK, Germany, and Sweden, you build trusted relationships that drive safe delivery, customer satisfaction, and future growth. Responsibilities
Partner with the Service Director in Ireland to manage customer issues across Siemens Energy’s thermal power generation rotating equipment fleet, driving satisfaction through ownership and entrepreneurship.
Plan and safely deliver outages, overseeing preparation and production of outage documentation and developing mitigation strategies for identified and emerging risks.
Coordinate unscheduled maintenance and breakdowns, ensuring a structured, considered, and safety‑focused response.
Brief, support, and closely monitor all personnel deployed to customer sites, coordinating effective back‑office support.
Own onshore outage delivery, order management, and customer accounts, maximizing profitability through scope control, risk management, and upsell opportunities.
Travel to customer sites across Ireland is required, with occasional visits to the UK and Germany.
Qualifications
Proven experience in project management and delivery, ideally within power generation or a service and maintenance environment.
A commercial, customer‑focused mindset with strong negotiation skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
A background in thermal power generation, gas turbine technology, the energy industry, energy transition, or oil and gas.
A degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Project Management, with industry certifications such as IPMA, PMP, APM, PRINCE2, or PMI considered an advantage.
Confidence using project management and business tools such as OnePM, Excel, Microsoft Project, SAP, Salesforce, or similar systems.
