Job Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor
This is a challenging role for a motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Participating in the procurement of specialist trades and making recommendations to the project director.
* Assisting or leading the drafting of subcontract agreements.
* Receiving, assessing, and settling subcontract interim valuations and final accounts.
* Reviewing developing design information and advising the project team on cost implications.
* Identifying value engineering opportunities and advising the project team.
* Completing monthly valuations for submission to the Employer's Representative.
* Participating in internal cost reporting systems, including cost versus value reconciliations and turnover reports.
* Preparing the project final account submission to the Client.
* Providing proactive advice to the project director on matters of contract.
Requirements:
* A Level 8 degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
* 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, with an emphasis on providing accurate and clear reports.
* A proven track record in dealing with subcontractors and clients.
* Good problem-solving skills.
* A reasonable knowledge of current forms of agreement for the industry.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Bluebeam, CostX, and Cubit.
* The ability to work well under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
* Career ambition and enthusiasm for promotion to Senior Surveyor or Managing Surveyor.
Package: €55K - €95K negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
