Stelfox is partnering with a SaaS Analytics provider who deploy asset management, risk management and real-time analytics solutions into enterprise level organisations.
The company is headquartered in Dublin and are on a growth journey due to the demand for their products and services within industry.
We are looking for a hands-on QA Lead, as this will be the first dedicated QA person to be accountable for all QA relation activities for the engineering team(s) and company.
The role will focus on introducing good QA practices and gain a strong understanding of the product/platform you will executing testing on. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across the Software engineering, Product and Client delivery teams to ensure there is a focus on delivery quality and go-live readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the execution of functional testing, requiring the understanding documented requirements and acceptance criteria
* Lead the completion of all testing and being responsible for ensuring that new functionality behaves as expected and regression tests are also considered.
* Lead the identification and tracking of defects/QA fails through to resolution
* Communicate clearly with development teams on testing outcomes
* Work with the Product team to ensure clarity of expected functionality
* Focus on the timeliness of test completion, inline with planned software rollouts
* Proactively identify product improvements and opportunities to enhance QA processes.
Ideal Candidate:
* Lead QA/testing experience in a financial-based software environment/company
* Experience in a SaaS or technology-driven environment where you engage with cross-functional teams.
* Good understanding of financial modelling, structured financial products
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with customer-focused mindset.
* Familiarity with agile product management tools and methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence).
* A flexible, hands-on approach with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
* Comfortable working on a SaaS / API-led product so a good grasp of functional, API, backend and performance testing.
* Comfortable acting as the sole QA initially before creating a QA strategy and best practice approach for testing activities moving forward, which will allow you to move into QA Management as the company expands in the future.
