Location: Dublin (Hybrid - minimum 2 days onsite)OverviewOur client is looking to hire a Cyber Security Lead or Manager to support the development of their security capability across the organisation. This is a newly created role and will be the first in this team, providing an opportunity to help coordinate and strengthen security practices across multiple IT functions.The role will work directly with the IT Director and will play a key part in security operations, incident response, and security governance, while working closely with internal teams and external partners.This position would suit someone with a strong technical security background who is ready to make the step up.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and coordinate security operations and incident response activitiesInvestigate and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilitiesWork closely with internal IT teams across service desk, cloud, operations, data, and project deliveryLeverage and manage Microsoft security tooling within Azure and Microsoft 365 environmentsContribute to the development and implementation of security frameworks and best practicesWork with external consultancies and security partners where requiredHelp bring structure and coordination to security activities across the wider IT functionKey RequirementsApproximately 5+ years’ experience within cyber security or security operationsStrong experience with:Security OperationsIncident ResponseSecurity InvestigationsExperience working with Microsoft security tooling, particularly within Azure and Microsoft 365 environmentsFamiliarity with security frameworks and best practice standardsStrong technical understanding of security operations and threat investigationAbility to work cross-functionally and engage with multiple stakeholders
