Senior Systems Engineers (voice and routing) (VoiceRout) Galway, Republic of Ireland
We have Principal and Senior level permanent and contract roles in Galway for experienced Systems Engineers specifically within the Contact Center area!
Our client is seeking a talented individual to join their team and contribute to their Contact Centre platform and engineering. This is a great opportunity to be at the beginning of a new team set up!
You will lead technology solutions to deliver business value; collaborate in an autonomous team, owning all aspects of delivery (Coding, Quality, DevSecOps) as well as helping to transform the DevOps, provisioning, testing, and operational capabilities of the platform; simplify the complex through consistency, refactoring, and repeatability; grow an agile development culture and promote industry standard methodologies; guide and oversee the implementation of high-level and low-level designs; improve monitoring and operational stability practices.
Skills:
1. Extensive voice/digital routing experience
2. Expertise in using Genesys composer, Amazon Connect or similar tools (for example Avaya Aura Oceania) to create and maintain complex routing strategies
3. Strong organisational skills
4. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
5. Proficiency with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) delivery and software design
6. Understanding of enterprise-scale platform architecture and high availability considerations
7. Familiarity with Docker and container-based development and deployment practices as well as with CI/CD pipelines
8. Proficiency managing, configuring and tuning Linux operating systems
9. Consult and help mediate and resolve routing issues, coordinate trouble reports and follow through to resolution with applicable logging and monitoring tools (Kibana preferred)
10. Demonstrate ability to effectively interact with all levels of management/personnel
11. Proven ability to work independently and professionally in high pressure/visibility situations within tight timeframes
12. System monitoring and performance evaluation
13. Documentation of process and procedures as assigned
14. Experience with navigating carrier customer portals (Verizon VEC, AT&T Business Direct)
