The Programme Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high-volume retrofit programme, working closely with the Programme Manager to ensure smooth coordination across project managers, subcontractors, installation crews, finance and administration.
The role operates in a fast-moving environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities. It will suit someone who is comfortable building effective working relationships, addressing issues as they arise, and adapting their approach to suit different audiences while keeping delivery on track.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Retrofit Project Facilitation
* Act as the primary point of contact for ongoing retrofit projects.
* Coordinate with internal teams (Ops and Finance) and external contractors to ensure timely delivery of works.
* Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and escalate risks where necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of job status and communicate updates to stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards throughout project execution.
Subcontractor Allocation & Workflow Management
* Allocate housing units to subcontractors in a fair and consistent manner.
* Track subcontractor progress to ensure completion of current works before assigning new projects.
* Maintain allocation logs and performance metrics for subcontractors.
* Support subcontractor onboarding and adherence to company standards.
Program Understanding & Reporting
* Develop a working knowledge of the overall retrofit program objectives, timelines, and KPIs.
* Assist in preparing progress reports and dashboards for senior management.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to program-level discussions.
Skills & Qualifications
* Essential:

* Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

* Experience in construction, energy efficiency, or retrofit projects.
