**Construction Planning Role Summary:**
This position is a key opportunity for an experienced construction professional to contribute to the planning and delivery of large-scale residential and mixed-use development projects. As a Construction Planner, you will play a vital role in supporting the project lifecycle from early-stage feasibility through to completion and handover.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide support in developing, reviewing, and maintaining detailed master construction programmes across a range of projects, ensuring alignment with gateway processes and project milestones.
* Assist in the preparation and management of accurate and data-driven construction schedules, with a focus on efficiency, sequencing, and delivery timelines.
* Contribute to the development of phasing plans, logistics strategies, and handover schedules to support construction sequencing and client delivery targets.
* Assist in the implementation and maintenance of project controls procedures, ensuring that best practices in planning, monitoring, and reporting are consistently applied.
* Track and report on programme progress, flagging potential delays and working with project teams to develop and implement recovery strategies.
**Ideal Candidate Profile:**
* Degree-qualified (Level 8 or equivalent) in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in the construction sector; residential construction experience is a distinct advantage.
* Familiarity with project planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, MS Project) is advantageous but not essential training can be provided.
* Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project phasing, and site logistics.
* Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities.
