Key Responsibilities
* Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in the acute care setting.
* Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients’ functional abilities and facilitating discharge.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care delivery.
* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation and adaptive techniques.
* Participate in case conferences and contribute to the development of care plans.
* Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with hospital policies.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Current registration with CORU
* Must have at least 1 full year’s experience working as an Occupational Therapist in acute hospital settings, particularly in General Medical and Surgical wards.
* Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
* Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
* International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
