To perform analysis as required in accordance with internal and waste licence regulations.
Key Responsibilities To perform appropriate tests on incoming and outgoing wastes daily and to record, interpret and report results of same.
To perform appropriate tests on incoming waste oil and to record and report on results of same.
Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
To work closely with the operations team to deliver solutions and ensure customer/business demands are met in a timely and efficient manner.
To work closely with other lab personnel to research, develop and validate new methods as appropriate.
To proactively address and highlight potential issues to the relevant department when necessary.
To adhere to the company's health and safety policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments and audits when and where necessary.
To ensure that appropriate levels of consumables are maintained within the lab and to highlight shortages as necessary.
To ensure that the lab is always kept clean and tidy and adhere to good housekeeping practices.
To provide direct support to the Portlaoise business as and when required e.g. Health, Safety and environmental duties, finance duties as may reasonably be requested.
