Join Our Team as a GSE/HGV Technician at Dublin Airport!
Location: Dublin Airport
Salary: Up to €58,000 per annum, (depending upon experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
About the Role:
Are you passionate about servicing, repairing, and maintaining Ground Service Equipment (GSE) and Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs)? Swissport is on the lookout for talented technicians to ensure the seamless operation of our crucial ground and air cargo services globally.
Responsibilities
* Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on various GSE and HGVs.
* Record inspection findings and job details in Swissport’s fleet management system.
* Respond to out-of-hours service requests when needed.
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday – 08:00 – 16:00.
* On-call pattern – Every 3rd week on-call. €120 euros per week standby.
* €90 euros per call-out.
* Overtime available.
Qualifications
What We Seek:
* Certified Technician with City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.
* Ideal for HGV or Plant technicians.
* Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and fault-finding skills.
* Eagerness to learn new skills and technologies.
* Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electric systems.
* Ability to conduct safety inspections and routine maintenance.
* Enthusiastic, flexible team player with a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
* Welding skills (preferred but not essential).
* Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
* Own set of tools.
* Willingness to travel for training or to assist other Swissport stations with GSE needs.
* Ability to pass DBS security background checks.

Licence/Certification:
* Full EU valid driving license.
