Job Title: Chief Risk Officer
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Chief Risk Officer. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a clear and effective risk management framework, aligned with legal and regulatory requirements.
Risk Management Framework:
The successful candidate will be expected to:
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework that includes policies, procedures, and controls to identify, assess, measure, monitor, and manage risks.
* Implement and manage a compliance framework that includes a compliance risk assessment, annual compliance plan, and risk-based testing and monitoring programme.
* Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of the risk management framework, including identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Appropriate recognized qualifications in compliance and/or risk management, including the Professional Certificate or Diploma in Compliance (ACOI) or a comparable Risk Qualification.
* Minimum of 5-8 years' relevant experience in a compliance and/or risk role, including approximately 3-5 years' experience managing a compliance and/or risk team.
* Experience in a PCF 12 or PCF 14 role is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
Working Arrangements:
The role is available 4 days a week in the office and one day at home. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
