Based at our Dublin campus at Aungier Street, the role combines both office-based activity—such as administration, assisting admissions, partner communication, and CRM management—and international-facing travel to represent DBS at partner institutions, International Days, and recruitment events, both virtually and in-person in Europe, the US, and Dublin.Recruitment efforts will focus on promoting DBS’s suite of QQI-accredited programmes, including semester study abroad, articulation agreements, postgraduate entry routes, and bespoke group programmes.Travel is an important requirement of this role.Specific responsibilities of the Student Recruitment Officer for Europe and US will include:Facilitating the recruitment of students from mainland Europe, US and other markets in accordance with agreed targetsDeveloping and managing partner relationships for the College to support the delivery of our Internationalisation strategic objectives. This includes existing partners as well as developing new partnerships annuallyResearching and identifying new partnership and recruitment opportunities within the higher education sector in selected markets, including colleges, universities, and study abroad providers.Deliver presentations, webinars, and information sessions to promote the College’s programmes to Partners/ Agents and their students where requiredArrange visits/meetings to partner colleges as per an approved travel planProvide support to the Business Development Manager for Europe and USIn conjunction with the Business Development manager for Europe and US, to develop, deliver and evaluate student recruitment plans for target schools within designated regions.Review plans on a regular basis and the monitoring and management of the recruitment target to assess if objectives are been metProvide comprehensive reports on partner visits and to ensure that market intelligence gained through recruitment activity is fed back to colleagues within the recruitment function to inform future activity.Responsible in ensuring all administration processes associated with recruitment andMonitoring and reporting on trends and performance data specific to the key markets, including conversion and retention metrics.To build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders including academic recruitment staff, Admissions teams, Student Experience and Careers and to work collaboratively with these stakeholders to support EU recruitment.Act as Liaison and contact Person for relevant Colleges and PartnersConduct regular follow up call campaigns with PartnersFollow up with student recruitment leads and applications at all statuses by phone, email or any other communication channel as directedLiaising with all applicants from Partner Colleges and Agents regarding status of their applicationWork with the Marketing Manager and Digital Content Assistant in developing relevant marketing communications for European partners and their students and building marketing plans for marketsAttendance at International Days, Open events, Recruitment fairs, virtual fairs, registration and Induction events in Europe and in DBSAssist in other student recruitment areas when requiredAdditional administrative and marketing tasks as delegated by managementTo maintain, update and keep abreast of own professional knowledge/sector wide issues relating to areas particular to the role and to share best practice and train other colleagues as necessaryWorking Relationships:The management of successful working relationships will be an integral aspect of the role.
