Job Description:
We are seeking a professionally qualified and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the full range of quantity surveying services. The successful candidate will have experience in project co-ordination, strong communication skills, and be confident in dealing with clients face-to-face.
The ideal candidate will oversee and chair site meetings through to project delivery on a wide range of prestigious projects. Responsibilities include preparation of cost plans/ budget estimates, value engineering (identifying risks and opportunities), and preparation of Bills of Quantities.
Other key responsibilities include tender review and evaluation, assessing Interim valuation payments, negotiating and agreeing variations, cost reporting, and final account settlement. Reporting to key stakeholders is also essential.
Requirements:
A BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying is required, along with 5+ years of experience with at least 3 years working with professional QS companies. Professional membership to SCSI or RICS is also necessary. Good communication, presentation, and computer literacy skills are essential, especially in MS office.
