The eCommerce Trading Manager will take full ownership for driving revenue growth and executing trading strategies within a specific market. This role ensures that strategic objectives are localized and successfully implemented. The Market Trading Manager is accountable for sales performance, promotional planning, and ensuring that customer experience and business goals are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Take full ownership of the online trading strategy, ensuring optimal sales performance.
* Develop and implement market-specific discount strategies, working within budget frameworks while identifying new revenue opportunities.
* Actively monitor and adjust trading strategies based on data-driven insights and competitor benchmarking.
* Own the optimization of the online product catalogue, ensuring high-performing product rankings and navigation.
* Lead cross-functional collaboration with the Contracting, Content, and Acquisition teams to ensure market-leading product offerings and maximize traffic acquisition.
* Oversee and drive campaign execution, ensuring maximum impact on conversion rates and AOV.
* Analyse performance metrics and proactively implement website enhancements to optimize customer experience and engagement.
* Report directly to the Senior Trading Manager on strategic opportunities, challenges, and key performance outcomes.
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in eCommerce.
* Proven track record in website merchandising and trading performance management.
* Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with the ability to make independent strategic decisions.
* Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to take ownership of cross-functional projects.
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or eCommerce-related fields.
* Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and third-party analytics tools.
* Strong market experience in the relevant European region.
* Fluent in English and Dutch language.
