Assistant Quantity Surveyor |South DublinMain Contractor€45,000-€55,000 + BenefitsA leading top-tier building and civil engineering contractor is currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a major project based in South Dublin.This contractor has a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality, complex projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and infrastructure, and is known for strong project delivery, repeat clients, and excellent career development opportunities.The RoleWorking closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager, the successful candidate will support the commercial management of the project from early stages through to completion.Key responsibilities include:Assisting with cost management and budget controlPreparing subcontractor packages and supporting procurementMeasurement, valuations, and cost reportingAssisting with interim valuations and final accountsSupporting subcontractor payments and variation assessmentsLiaising with site teams, subcontractors, and consultantsEnsuring commercial procedures and controls are followedRequirementsDegree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline1–3+ years' experience in a similar role with a main contractor or PQSStrong numerical, analytical, and organisational skillsGood communication skills and ability to work within a teamAmbitious, motivated, and keen to progress within a reputable contractorWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageExposure to a high-profile project with an established contractorStrong mentorship and clear progression pathwayLong-term pipeline of work in Dublin and beyond
