Cloud and Compliance SpecialistLocation:Dublin (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)Contract:11 monthsIndustry:Global Accounts-TechnologyWe are seeking aCloud and Compliance Specialistto join our client's Security team in Dublin. This role will focus on Cloud Security and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), supporting high-impact programmes across cross-functional teams (XFNs).Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and deliver major programmes of work in Cloud Security and Cloud GRC.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify priorities, resolve challenges, and assess programme impact.Design, implement, and assess security controls and frameworks.Implement maturity frameworks across multiple programmes, factoring in emerging regulations and risk detection.Assess and document the impact of new regulations on existing policies and control frameworks.Share learnings, establish best practices, and develop standardised frameworks and tools across GRC and related teams.Partner with XFN teams to develop and manage detailed project/programme plans.Document compliance positions for NIS 2 and RED directives and support SRA delivery.Conduct Cloud Security GRC deep-dives, document GRC-driven positions, and identify opportunities to strengthen Cloud Security Posture.Qualifications & Experience5–7+ years in Information Security .Strong knowledge of Cloud Security, Risk Management, and Compliance .5+ years of hands-on security experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).Experience working in a GRC function, overseeing large-scale Cloud implementations.Proven ability to design and implement control frameworks .Experience identifying security deficiencies in information systems and recommending mitigating controls within a corporate environment.CREST certification (e.g. CRT – CREST Registered Penetration Tester, CCT INF – Certified Infrastructure Tester, or CCT APP – Certified Web Application Tester) is highly desirable, as it demonstrates advanced, hands-on technical expertise.
