Little Sisters of the Poor are seeking to hire one full-time housekeeper for our nursing home in Raheny, Dublin 5. This is a permanent role.
You must be located in the Dublin area, within 5km of Raheny and be able to reliably travel to Dublin 5 for a 7.30am start. Shifts run between 7.30am and 7.30pm - five days over seven and includes weekend and public holiday working according to the roster
Requirements
Applicants MUST be fluent in English.
All candidates MUST have permission to work FULL TIME in Ireland. Stamp 2 is not sufficient for this position.
Experience in food handling is preferable.
HACCP certification is preferable but training can be given.
Responsibilities
Maintaining an excellent standard of cleanliness in resident rooms, kitchen, dining areas and on your daily assigned unit.
Housekeeping cleaning of resident rooms requires a person who is friendly, efficient, polite, understanding and patient with a strong emphasis on customer service.
The chosen candidate must be physically strong as this role requires use of floor polishers and buffers, as well as manually moving furniture as part of deep clean.
Working as part of the housekeeping team, you will also collaborate with the clinical, catering, and administrative teams, to contribute to an effective, clean, and fully functioning home.
