We are currently seeking an experienced part time Bar Person to join our friendly and professional Food and Beverage Team. We are ideally looking for someone to work mid-week: Mondays - Thursdays.
Duties:
* Be accountable for correct standards of Mis-en-Place before, during and after service.
* Ensure the preparation of the department and the still room area are always in accordance with the hotel standards.
* Be responsible for handling keys and money, securely opening and closing down the department.
* Inform yourself and adhere with the relevant control, maintenance, equipment, par stocks and requisition and storage systems at all times.
* Preparation of both alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and patrons
* Interacting with customers, taking orders and serving snacks and drinks
* Assessing bar customers' needs and preferences and making recommendations
* Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
* Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
* Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
* Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Requirements:
* Previous bar experience in a similar business- ideally a 4* hotel
* Availability to work on weekends and be flexible with time
* A professional manner
* Excellent presentation
* Ability to work both as a team and alone
* Self-motivated
* Friendly and outgoing
* Fluent English
* Fantastic customer service skills
