Job Description

THE ROLE

You will join the Risk team at IQ-EQ Fund Management (Ireland) Limited — a wholly owned subsidiary of the IQ-EQ Group and a fund management company authorised under both UCITS and AIFM regimes. In this role, you will support the Designated Person for Fund Risk Management and play an active part in overseeing trading and risk systems for liquid portfolios including equities, bonds, ETFs, and derivatives. You will collaborate closely with portfolio managers, contribute to regulatory and board reporting, and help drive a strong risk management culture across the business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

* You assist in managing investment and fund risk by monitoring portfolios against benchmarks and ensuring compliance with risk limits and regulatory guidelines
* You develop, implement, and monitor fund-specific and regulatory rules to ensure portfolios operate within approved mandates
* You prepare and present formal risk reports across multiple asset classes for senior management and fund boards
* You liaise with portfolio managers and internal teams to identify, measure, monitor, and manage key risks across portfolios
* You support the ongoing enhancement of risk reporting processes using tools such as MS Excel and SQL Server

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'II BRING

* You hold a degree or master's in a business, finance, or numerical discipline
* You bring experience or strong academic exposure to the funds or investment management industry, ideally with knowledge of UCITS or AIFMD frameworks
* You demonstrate high attention to detail, analytical capability, and the ability to deliver under pressure
* You have excellent communication skills and can clearly convey complex risk data to varied audiences
* You are proficient in Excel and have working knowledge of SQL or similar analytical tools, or the enthusiasm to develop these skills further
