Industrial Refrigeration Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to join our team.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing service and maintenance on industrial refrigeration systems. This will include carrying out service and maintenance functions, working with other engineers to complete tasks, liaising with electrical engineers on equipment and customers, and prioritizing own workload to enable maximum efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial refrigeration repairs and maintenance, with at least 3 years experience in the field. They will also hold relevant qualifications and certifications, such as F-Gas certification.
In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent time-management skills, ability to work under pressure, and high-level interpersonal skills. They must also be flexible and able to work with individuals at all levels.
* Providing service and maintenance on industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
* To carry out service & maintenance functions on refrigeration systems.
* Become a proactive team member working with other engineers to complete tasks.
* Liaise with other electrical engineers on equipment.
* Liaise with customers, engineers, administration staff, management and other team members ensuring timely responses to enquiries and returning paperwork and dockets to office.
* To prioritize own workload, when appropriate, to enable maximum efficiency, within the framework of existing systems and procedures.
* To partake in a standby rota for out-of-hours service calls and emergency callouts, including weekends and all Bank Holidays.
* To provide support to other Service regions, company departments and divisions as required.
* Any other duties required by the Service Manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Requirements:
* Working knowledge of industrial, commercial & air conditioning systems utilising all types of refrigerants.
* Must have at least 3 year's experience in the field of Refrigeration repairs and maintenance and Air Conditioning repairs and maintenance.
* Must have relevant Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Qualifications.
* Must have F-Gas certification.

* Highly disciplined with excellent time-management skills.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure, at the same time maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy.
* Needs to work on own initiative without unnecessary referral.
* Flexible – able to cope with a variety of demands, and to work with individuals at all levels.
* High-level interpersonal skills – able to communicate with people on all levels – must be a 'team player' and customer-orientated.
* Must be confidential and discrete in all circumstances.
* Clean, current full driving licence – essential.
