Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Job Description
Duties
* This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
* Assisting the Playgroup/Crèche Childcare Leader in maintaining a safe, healthy and happy environment for the children to grow and learn in.
* Attend all Training Courses as directed by the DLDC Community Employment Supervisor and the Playschool/Crèche Childcare Manager.
* Any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Playschool/Crèche Childcare Manager /DLDC C.E. Supervisor.
* Full training in QQI Advanced Certificate in Early Learning and Care Level 5 and 6 will be provided.
* Achieved at least a C1 Advanced proficiency level in the English Language.
