Job Title: Civils Site Engineer
As a seasoned site engineer with extensive experience in the civils sector, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of construction projects. You will work closely with the project manager and other stakeholders to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a strong understanding of project management principles. They should be able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities to team members when necessary.
A degree in civil engineering or construction management is required, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience in the industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD software and experience with setting out, using GPS systems, and Total Stations are also essential. Additionally, having a clean driving license is a plus.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing reports, conducting quality control checks, and implementing the company's health and safety policy on site. They must have a proactive approach to resolving technical difficulties and be proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
