About the Role:
The role of a bakery professional is to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the bakery department, providing high-quality products and services to customers.
Main Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
* Preparing customers' bakery orders with precision and attention to detail;
* Baking, preparing, and displaying bakery products throughout the day;
* Ensuring the counter displays meet the highest standards at all times;
* Demonstrating passion for quality food by sharing knowledge, recipes, and personal recommendations with customers;
* Dealing with customer queries efficiently, professionally, and in line with store policy;
Key Skills:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
* HACCP training (desirable but not necessary);
* Previous customer service experience (an advantage);
* Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task under pressure;
* A passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers;
Working Hours:
The role involves working on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 06:00 to 14:00. Please note that start and finish times are approximate.
