We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our growing team.
Role Overview: The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for joinery projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, and other documentation.
You will liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure that quotes and tenders are submitted on time and are competitive.
Key Responsibilities:Review architectural drawings, joinery specifications, and tender documentsPrepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for bespoke joinery projectsLiaise with architects, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather necessary pricing and technical informationPrepare bills of quantities and schedules of worksTrack and manage tender submissions and deadlinesIdentify potential risks or value engineering opportunities in projectsAssist in post-tender negotiations and contract handoversMaintain cost databases and estimation softwareSupport the commercial and project teams throughout the lifecycle of awarded projectsRequirements: Essential:Proven experience as an Estimator in a joinery or construction environment (2+ years)Strong knowledge of bespoke joinery, timber materials, and manufacturing processesProficiency in estimating software (e.g.
