Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our Global Accounting team as an Accounting Manager. This role will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of statutory financial statements, reviewing month-end financial close, and ensuring compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of relevant experience in accounting roles, either in practice or industry-style environments, and hold qualifications such as a University Graduate or ACA/ACCA. Previous managerial experience is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Correspondence with vendors and employees regarding payment statuses
* Preparation and review of statutory financial statements across multiple entities
* Responsible for direct reports and their respective countries
* Timely completion of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles
* Key point of contact for the completion of statutory audits of EMEA entities
* Addressing audit findings and implementing recommendations to enhance financial controls
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proficient understanding of US GAAP accounting, including GL journal entries and accruals
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
* Highly proficient in MS Office and Excel
* Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
* Research and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task
