I have a new role for a salesforce support engineer. This is a hybrid(3 days per week) position with a financial services client of mine based in Dublin. It will be a 2-year initial day rate contract paying up to €450 per day.
Join a global team delivering high-quality support for enterprise-level Salesforce applications. This role focuses on ensuring smooth operations, minimizing user impact, and driving continuous improvement through monitoring, analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.
Technical Expertise
* Salesforce Operations
o User and access management, case handling, and ticket triage
o Documentation and user support for application functionality
o Data management and integration monitoring
o Deployment activities, sandbox refreshes, and license audits
* Tools & Technologies
o ITSM platforms: ServiceNow, Remedy
o Monitoring tools: Splunk, Dynatrace, Omnibus
o Basic scripting (UNIX) and database knowledge (Oracle or similar)
o Experience with batch scheduling and integration error handling
Key Responsibilities
* Application Support & Monitoring
o Provide end-to-end support for Salesforce applications, including health checks and incident resolution
o Monitor system performance and proactively address anomalies
o Participate in incident and change management processes
o Analyze data to assess application performance and identify areas for improvement
o Fine‑tune alerts and reduce manual workload through automation and process enhancements
* Customer & Service Management
o Act as the primary contact for all Salesforce‑related queries and tickets
o Manage customer relationships and ensure SLA compliance
o Generate reports on service status, metrics, and progress
o Maintain and update operational documentation and SOPs
o Participate in service reviews and support change management initiatives
